However, creating high-quality baby food requires a certain level of skill.

Remember, an infant's esophagus is very small and cannot handle large chunks of food, so the ingredients need to be finely mashed. Even though my own children are older now, the ingredients in this recipe should still be mashed finer to make it easier for babies to eat.

  • 150g Cod
  • 50g Rice
  • 50g Glutinous Rice

ACCESSORIES

  • 10g Carrot (diced)
  • 20g Shiitake Mushrooms (diced)
  • 2 stalks Tender Bok Choy

SEASONINGS

  • 3g Salt
  • 2g Sugar
  • Water (as needed)

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Start by preparing all the ingredients listed above.

Thaw the cod, rinse it well, and cut it into 150g slices. Marinate with salt for about 15 minutes.

Tip:

The cod I purchased is pre-processed and boneless. If your cod has bones, make sure to remove them completely.

Prepare, thaw, rinse, and marinate cod. Remove bones if present.

STEP 2

Rinse 50g of rice and 50g of glutinous rice, then place them in a pot with enough water. Cook over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes.

Rinse and cook rice and glutinous rice in water for 20 minutes.

STEP 3

Once the water boils and the rice and glutinous rice are partially cooked, add 20g of diced shiitake mushrooms and some ginger slices.

Dice the shiitake mushrooms finely. I slice them because my children are older. For younger children, make sure to chop them finely (about 10 minutes).
